1 bag frozen Marion blackberries

1 bag frozen raspberries

1/3 cup sugar

3 tbs flour

Pillsbury frozen pie crust  (2 per package)

 

Put frozen berries into a bowl and allow them to thaw.  Once berries have thawed, mix together sugar and flour and add to berries.

 

Take frozen pie crusts out of freezer and allow them to thaw at room temperature.  When you open flat pie crusts, you may need to fuse seams together with your fingers before laying in pie plate.  Lay one pie crust in bottom of pie plate.  Add berry mixture.  Lay top crust over pie plate.  Pinch edges together and cut slits on top.  (I brush to of crust with water and sprinkle 1 tbs of sugar on top.)

 

Bake for 40 minutes at 425˚.  Check pie after baking 15 minutes – may need to put foil over crust edge to avoid burning.
