400 gr de cerises                                          400 gr cherries

125 gr de farine                                             125 gr flour

2 œufs                                                            2 eggs

100 gr de sucre                                             100 gr sugar

2 verres de lait                                               2 cups milk

20 gr beurre                                                   20 gr butter

sel                                                                   salt

 

Disposer les cerises dans un plat beurre.  Battre farine, sucre, sel et oeufs.  Délayer avec le lait.  Verser la pâte sur les fruits.  Faire cuire dans un four chaud 40 mins.  Saupoudrer de sucre après cuisson.

 

English translation:  Arrange cherries in a buttered dish.  In a separate bowl beat flour, sugar, salt and eggs.  Stir milk into the mixture.  Pour the mixture on top of the cherries.  Bake at 350˚ (preheated oven) for 40 minutes.  Sprinkle with sugar after baking.
