Recipe source and anecdote: I got this
recipe from a house mate before I was married and it has always been one of my
favorite muffin recipes. My house mate
was a college exchange student on a work term from Nova Scotia. Blueberries grew in abundance right out her
back door at home. She told me the
recipe was her mother’s and was best with “low bush berries”. I make it with wild berries when I can get
them. It certainly is fine with any
berries and I have made it with cranberries too.
