Add seared chicken to top of

Recipe anecdote: This recipe is a classic for family barbeques
in the Santa Maria-________ area in
California. According to Greg, the
chicken must be seared over coals of California red oak. Good luck finding it here! Our family has found that coals of any kind
work well. Gas barbeques can be
troublesome so don’t bother.
The best part of this recipe
is it requires no measuring of any kind.
Yes, even your 5 year old can be a great help. Just keep ‘em away from the fire.
