Recipe ingredients and directions:

 

1 lb rib eye beef, thinly sliced, cut in pieces. Excess fat removed.

 

Marinade

1 tbs rice wine

1 Asian pear, grated

¼ cup soy sauce

1 tbs sesame oil

2 tbs brown sugar or honey

1 tbs garlic, chopped

1 tbs ginger root, thinly sliced or chopped

2 tbs green onion

¼ tbs ground black pepper

 

Prepare barbecue sauce.

 

In a large bowl, mix the beef slices with barbecue sauce massaging well with the hand for a few minutes.

 

Preheat grill or pan, and cook meats.  Do not overcook.

 

* You can leave to marinate beef for 3-4 hours too, before you grill for more flavor.

 

* If you are busy and want to stretch your time use commercial barbecue sauce as a base.
