½ cup mayonnaise

¼ green onion, minced

¾ lb crab meat

1 cup breadcrumbs

½ canola oil

 

Mix the mayonnaise, green onion and crab meat in a bowl.  Put the breadcrumbs on a plate.  In your hands, make a 1 inch think patty from the crab mixture and sprinkle breadcrumbs on the top and bottom of each patty.

 

Heat oil in a frying pan on low heat.  Place the crab cakes in the pan and cook for a few minutes (until brown) on each side.  Serve immediately.
