Recipe anecdote:   This recipe can be adapted to any taste, just substitute your favorite meat (chicken, pork, beef or shrimp) and vegetables or tofu.  The BBQ pork and ham are already cooked so they just need to be heated; however, if you use chicken, pork, beef or shrimp, be sure to cook and season the ingredients before adding to the rice.
