Recipe ingredients and directions:

 

4 eggs

1 cup milk

¾ cup Crisco oil

1 tsp lemon extract

2 tbs rum extract

1 pkg instant lemon pudding

 

Add all ingredients and with electric mixer mix above together for 3 minutes.  Then add 1 package Duncan Hines (or any other brand) yellow cake mix.  Mix all ingredients 3 more minutes.

 

Pour into a bundt pan previously oiled with brush.  Bake at 350° F for 45 minutes.  Take out, let sit 5 minutes – turn cake upside down and spoon following mixture:  1 cup powdered sugar and 1/8 or more real rum.

 

This cake keeps up to 6 weeks in a bag in refrigerator – freezes well.
