Recipe ingredients and directions:

 

2 lbs center cut salmon fillet, cut into six pieces

salt and pepper

1 tsp canola oil

 

1 tbs ginger, grated

1 tbs garlic, crushed and finely minced

3 tbs maple syrup (grade B)

1 tbs tamari

1-1/2 tsp lime juice

2-3 tbs scallion, sliced on extreme bias (greens too)

broccoli rabe or broccoli for 6 (or greens)

2 tsp canola oil

 

Mix ginger, garlic, ____, and syrup and set aside.

Preheat oven to 400°.  Salt and pepper salmon and skin coat with oil.  Roast until nearly done.

Spoon glaze onto salmon.  Roast another 5 minutes.  Repeat.  Remove from oven when cooled through.

Stir fry broccoli.  When crisp and tender add remainder of glaze.

Put broccoli on serving tray, put salmon on top and top with scallion.
