Recipe ingredients and directions:
1 19 oz. can chick peas or
garbanzo beans (drain liquid and save)
¼ cup sesame seed paste
(Tahini)
1 clove garlic
½ tsp. salt
¼ cup lemon juice (or to
taste)
Combine all above
ingredients in a food processor or blender, adding only enough of the saved
liquid to meet your satisfaction (the more liquid added, the thinner the
dip). Blend for 2-3 minutes to a smooth
paste. Place in a small platter or
shallow bowl. If preferred, sprinkle
olive oil on top and garnish with parsley sprigs and lemon wedges.
